Betreff: Young BPW Europe Newsletter SEPTEMBER 2006

Dear Madame President, dear Young BPW,

Please find attached the Young BPW Newsletter for September, and I ask you to distribute this mail among all your young members. Please note, that all your input is welcome for the next editions – don’t hesitate to send me in your papers or mails!

At the very first a celebration: I do attach again the information about the Young BPW Award. Please do read this, spread it within your organisation and check which project in your Club or Country that could be sent in. I would love to receive a mail from you about this!

Form the Celebrations to the Meetings:

Some weeks ago we enjoyed the DACH-Meeting 2006 in Friedrichshafen/Germany. I did send you my report about the Meeting and my workshop with separate mail. Only later I recognized that I forgot to tell you that Gabriella Canonica, the European Coordinator, had her presentation about the BPW Business and Member Pages on Sunday and also informed about the project where the collected money goes to. Sorry that I forgot! But I take the chance to ask you all again: are you already registered at BPW Business Pages? You know, the basic entry is free of charge for everyone. BUT it makes you visible and you can be found there!

Although the European BPW Congress in Stockholm is long gone we received a report written in German from Jasmine Forster from BPW Switzerland – enjoy reading this! At www.bpw-europe.org/events/looking_back you can see and read even more. Thank you Jasmine for sharing your input!

Please let me again question your all Feedback for the survey on Young BPW in Europe: for our statistics we want to know how many Young BPW there are in your Federations or Associated Club and what is their range in age: how many Young BPW up to 29, how many from 30 – 35.  Up to now only Turkey, Belgium and Sweden did react. And these numbers surely are not representative for Europe. I kindly ask all others to call or estimate their members – thank you.

Let me finish this newsletter with very good news. First is that I will go to Austria in October and join the Austrian National Conference. We hope very much to start Young BPW in Austria then. And the second wonderful point is that BPW UK has formed a Dream-Team to revitalize Young BPW in UK. We are in good communication and I hope that in spring 2007 also Young BPW UK is alive – the initiative is such convincing that it just must be.

New with this Newsletter is my personal travel schedule – here you can see where we could meet and where I will give speeches, presentations or workshops.

And that was all from me today. I wish you a very good time, see you next month. For questions or bookings just contact me!

With best regards from Bonn,
