Dear Young BPW,

 

Please find attached the Young BPW Newsletter for December, and I ask you to distribute this mail among all your young members. Please note, that all your input is welcome for the next editions – don’t hesitate to send me in your papers or mails!

 

So we are at the End of the Year. Looking back, we can summarize our plans and how they turned out, the results, developments. I must say, we can be content with what we have succeeded so far. Development for BPW and Young BPW in Europe looks prosperous: Young BPW all over Europe are becoming more and more active. They stand up, perform strong and most of all: they are full of ideas. For 2007 I hope this good development goes on.

 

Thanks a lot to everybody, who did support Young BPW, who did help them, thanks to every Federation, Club, President and Member which did work so hard for the development and continuitiy!

 

I wish to everyone merry Christmas Days. Have a good New Year, have fun and success no matter what you do.

Young BPW Project 2007

At first something about Awards: You remember the International Young BPW Award, which closed end of November. Amélie Leclercq, ECC, and I prepared the papers and did send in the initiative “(Young) BPW perform at School”. This initiative is an “easy-to-use” project-tool for every Young BPW Group, BPW Club and even single members.

Already in 2006 there were some very successful small initiatives in single clubs all over Europe. I am very happy that we did notice all these good activities in your Clubs!

Currently we are preparing all paperworks, handouts and texts. The European Roll-out and Launch for this Project is terminated for January. Then you will receive details by Mail.

Young BPW project budgets

Let’s close this last Newsletter for 2006 with a very important information: During the BPW Europe Meeting n Stockholm we did decide about Young BPW project budgets.

Attached you find again the Mail from Gabriella. (Mail: Resolution 4) Till today we did receive already one application concerning a European project planned and run by Young BPW.

If you would like to apply on the fund for 2006 as well: send in a formal application, describe the planned project content and output, the concerned parties, get it signed from the national president and send everything to the ECC. Deadline is Dec 31^st.

Please consider, that this should not be a national project and that all European BPW Countries should take advantage or profit of this project

But no worry: for 2007 again you will have the chance to develop a project and apply for funds.
