Dear Madame President, dear Young BPW,

 

Please find attached the Young BPW Newsletter for August, and I ask you to distribute this mail among all your young members. Please note, that all your input is welcome for the next editions - don't hesitate to send me in your papers or mails!

 

The European BPW Congress in Stockholm is long gone - but don't miss to see the pictures and to read the reports under www.bpw-europe.org/events/looking_back !!!

 

Attached to this Summer-edition you will read something about the newly established Danube-Net, which joins alls BPW Federations and Associated Clubs, which are Danube Countries. This wonderful initiative will have the foundation ceremony in Budapest in November and I am sure, that the BPW from Budapest warmly welcome all interested guests! For details, see the paper from Marion Volk attached to this mail.

 

For all of you who want to go on travelling, check the invitation from BPW Brasil!

 

And if you want to get a glimpse on north-african way of live for women, seen by east-european eyes: then read the report from Veronika Oudova, Young BPW from BPW Czech, who travelled with a friend to Morocco.

 

The next Newsletter will deal about DACH-Meeting, held from the german-speaking BPW Federations in Friedrichhafen next weekend. I am looking forward interesting program points like IDP-Training with Michaela Muschitz-Fink, a speech of the Immediate International Past President, Dr. Antoinette Rüegg, and hopefully a contribution from our European Coordinator Gabriella Canonica. As Young BPW Europe Representative I will have my own  workshop on how to reach and make more members. It goes without saying that you will give you my report afterwards!

 

One example how you can achieve acknowledgement just by running, this can be read by the report of Valérie Vuillerat, Young BPW from BPW Switzerland. (this report is only in german available)

 

Further, I would like to ask all National Young BPW Representatives to check and update their entries in the BPW Roster under http://www.bpw-roster.info. Current data makes all our live efficient!

 

For all that wanted to see the Young BPW International Website - they had to change the address to www.young.bpw-international.org. I kindly ask you to update your files and documents that contain this information. 

 

Then I kindly ask for your input to this Newsletter and any Young BPW relevant Dates - please don't hesitate to send something in.
