Now there are only 2 weeks till BPW Europe Congress starts in Stockholm. I am very much looking forward to meeting some of you and I hope that we can spend interesting and productive days with each other. It is my great pleasure to conduct a Workshop on Young BPW and I hope that with this we can have platform to share experience and information on how we started and run Young BPW most successful and vivid!

 

Habing passed successfully this wonderful event, already the next date is in sight: the D-A-CH-Meeting in Friedrichshafen/South of Germany – a meeting of the three german speaking countries. Young BPW is strongly represented: I was asked to prepare and held a Workshop about the question on how to attract and integrate Young BPW.

15 members of BPW Germany took part at the international Congress World Women Work in Berlin – attached you can find a report from Claudia Windfuhr.

 

Then, Christine Heinze did send a valuable hint about the 2006 Postgraduate Research Summer School: China and Globalisation in Historical Perspective 18-21 July 2006, University of Nanjing, China – details in the attached form.

 

Ulrike Kessler did send us a pdf-File, where different materials and links concerning Europe are collected especially for schools and teacher. Use this list to get informed about Europe, about how it works, what are the instruments etc.!

my name is Silke Schippmann and though Viktoria is irreplaceable in this charge I will do my very best to represent the German Young BPW. I will also lead the German task force Young BPW from now on. I'm very excited because of this challenge and I hope, I'd love to achieve sustained success as Viktoria achieved before. Thank you very much, Viktoria, you did a great job!!!

 

I used to work as a psychiatric nurse before I started to do my A-level. Now I just finished my studies at the University of Hildesheim (International Information Management) and I started to work as Community Manager at the international social business platform "Open Business Club". I'm 33 years old, living with my boyfriend in Hamburg and in my leisure time I'd love fantasy roleplay, to ride my motorbike, read good books and meet up with friends.
